At Rumor Has It, we believe that food is more than just a meal, it’s an experience. And at the heart of every dish is Chef Jeremy. His culinary journey began on the sunny beaches of California, where he developed a love for the vibrant flavors of the West Coast. From tacos on the beach to the hearty meatball subs of New Jersey, Chef Jeremy’s passion for cooking has always been fueled by his love of fresh, bold flavors and creating dishes that people can truly enjoy.
With over 35 years of experience, Chef Jeremy’s career has spanned kitchens in New Jersey, California, and Maryland, where he’s crafted memorable meals and cultivated a deep love for diverse culinary traditions. He started his professional career at Alfonso’s Pizzeria in Somerville, NJ, where he honed his skills and turned his passion into a lifelong journey.
Four years ago, Chef Jeremy joined the Rumor Has It family after meeting Carl, a fellow Jersey native. Their shared love for great food and great company made it the perfect match. Since then, Chef Jeremy’s creativity and expertise have been at the heart of everything we do.
Beyond the kitchen, Chef Jeremy is known for his love of rock and roll music, even hosting an online cooking show that combined his culinary talents with his musical interests, bringing people together through both food and fun.
Above all, Chef Jeremy’s true passion is his family and the art of cooking food that brings people together. His diverse experience, love of flavor, and creative spirit are the driving forces behind the delicious dishes that have made Rumor Has It a standout in the culinary world.

Meet Carl Casalino
Carl Casalino, a distinguished Loyola University alumnus with degrees in Business Management and Finance, is a seasoned restaurateur with over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry. Over his illustrious 35-year career, Carl has demonstrated exceptional skill in restaurant operation and brand development.
He launched his entrepreneurial journey in 1986 with the creation of Guido Burrito, a novel concept that uniquely blended Mexican and Italian cuisines. His innovative approach continued to flourish with the establishment of The Rumor Meal in 2018, followed by The Rumor Reel in 2022, and Rumor Has It Catering slated for 2024.
From 1993 to 2016, Carl expanded his expertise as a franchisee for major brands including Taco Bell, KFC, Long John Silvers, and A&W. Under his leadership, his franchise portfolio grew to include 40 locations across three states, showcasing his prowess in multi-site management and operational efficiency.
Carl’s visionary leadership and commitment to excellence have not only set new standards in the restaurant industry but have also contributed significantly to the communities he serves.
